•tea rose–hints of mauve, dusty rose shade
•berry sorbet–shades of fuschia and berry
•natural–your lips but better shade
light weight, matte formula that has hydrating characteristics. i get a slight minty taste when i first apply this lip product, and it quickly fades away as it melts into your skin. this is a semi long lasting formula, but i do find that after about 4 hours you need to reapply. my one gripe about these lip sticks is that they do leave a ring (dare i say crusty?) in your inner lips after that 4 hour mark. i don’t let it bother me too much since the price point is so incredible, and the shade ranges provide almost any color your heart could desire.
i wanted to feature these matte lip color’s by e.l.f. for 3 major reasons–they are affordable ($3), they are convenient to throw in your purse, and they are hydrating on the lips. you get a solid color pay off from these lippies, and you won’t find your lips flaking off while wearing them. e.l.f. does sell 12 shades on their website ranging from neutrals to bright pinks to brick reds. target also sells a few different colors as well. regardless of where you buy them, the point is to buy them and try them out, ha!
